Frequently Asked Questions
How We Build Bridges
The Bridge of Faith builds bridges through Worship, Prayer, “Meals of Love”, Children’s Ministry, Small Groups, and practical teaching from the scriptures.
Q: What does the Bridge of Faith believe?
A: We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us and that it tells us to make disciples of all people groups.
“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, [even] to the end of the age”. Matthew 28:19-20 NKJ
Q: How do we “do church”?
A: When you enter The Bridge of Faith, you will be welcomed by folks who will help you find what you need whether it is nursery, the children’s leader or the fellowship hall for that cup of coffee. You will be given a “communication card” to fill out. The uplifting music is contemporary and most worshippers stand during the music. You will see expressions of praise such as upraised hands, clapping and audible praise. You certainly will not be out of place if you choose to remain seated and absorb the music as we worship Jesus.
We have prayer and often pray for those who come forward with special needs. An offering will be received and it is at this time you can place your “communication card” in the plate as it is passed. The Pastor will share a specific thought and scripture. So that’s how it normally happens at The Bridge of Faith.
We are flexible in the order things are done. Dress is casual and we love being together!
